What is the Focus Feed?
The Focus Feed is essentially the "Live Feed" from facebook.com plus notifications (e.g., "You were tagged in a photo.") in one easy-to-scan list. One thing you won't find in the Focus Feed, however, is "App Spam". App spam are posts from 3rd party apps about quizzes, games, etc. But the Focus feed automatically filters them out, so you don't have to be bothered by them!
What is the difference between the "Unread" and "Recent" tabs?
There are two tabs in the Focus Feed: "Unread" shows you only posts you haven't read yet. "Recent" shows all recent posts, regardless of whether or not you have read them.
How do I post a status message?
From the Focus Feed, tap on "Status".
Type in your status message and click done. If you want to upload a photo to your profile, tap the Camera icon.
How do I post a photo?
Tap "Status" from the Focus Feed, and then tap the camera to take a picture or choose one from your photo album. You can optionally write a caption too. Press "Done", and your photo will be upload.
Why are some posts gray?
Posts go gray after you read them. This way, new posts stand out more.
How can I see posts that I've already read?
From the Focus Feed, tap the "Recent" tab. This will show you all recent posts, regardless of whether or not you've read them.
How can I see someone else's profile?
From the Menu, tap Friends to see a list of your friends. Tapping any one brings you to that friends's profile.
Also, from any post or comment in the Focus Feed, you can tap a person's profile photo to quickly access his or her profile.
Where is chat?
Chat is under the main menu. From the chat screen, you can sign-on to Facebook chat with the button 'Go Online' in the top right, and Focus will sign you into chat every time you run it. Tap on an online friend to chat with them. Anytime you are using Focus and signed in to chat, a friend can chat with you.
How do I view photos of my friends?
When a friend posts a photo or a photo album, you'll be able to view it in the Focus Feed by tapping on the post. If you just want to view all photos of a particular friend, you can tap on 'Photo Albums' on that friends profile. Tap on anyone's profile photo to get to their profile, or tap on a friend in the friends screen.
